I work online using Skype with clients throughout the world, many are English speakers, but some are using English as a second language. Some people are work with live both in the UK and abroad, whilst others live in one country. Others live in the UK but find this a practical way of working. Some find it difficult to access an English speaking counsellor nearby, and Skype video offers an attractive alternative to travellling long distances.

Skype video is generally straightforward but would require us checking to make sure that the connection between us is suitable for counselling.

As an alternative to working face-to-face Skype video counselling can offer flexibility, safety and way of working which can take into account where you live in the world, or a mobile life style. I've had clients across the globe, but also in different parts of the UK. It can feel good to know that you can get in, for instance from work, at the end of your day, switch on your computer and have your counselling session, and then not to have to travel but instead can relax into your home activiites. It also allows for time-shifting, so that if you find it easier to get access to your computer at unusual times of the day I can find a slot which will work for you.

We could also work using focusing, creative writing or use Skype for personal development - you can decide what works for you.
